How to Ombre with Chalk Couture

The Ombre technique is probably one of my favorite techniques when it comes to Chalking!

It's very easy, there is no "right or wrong" way, and if you can finger paint, you can ombre!!

Today I'm walking you through the super simple steps you need to create that beautiful ombre effect!

To start let's pick several colors. For this piece I'm going with 3, so we have a nice transition.

You'll begin by taking your LIGHTEST color first and placing that on the top 1/3 of your transfer.

Next you'll grab your middle color and, you guessed it, go in the middle area.

Told you guys it was easy...!

Finally you'll take your third and darkest color and go over the bottom third.

Lastly, you'll take your finger and you'll kind of swirl were the colors meet on the top and bottom, this will allow you to blend you colors and not have such a drastic line. It'll create that nice soft ombre were looking for.

Then, and my favorite part....remove your transfer, revealing your beautiful work of art!!!

How cute Right?!! I love how easy it is to create this effect!

That's it!! Too Easy right!?! Told ya!!!

If you haven't heard of chalk before then what are you waiting for?! Check out this post!!

If you loved this post! I'd love for you to pin it!

Happy Chalking!!

Sarah
